That time, we were already months after the birth of the idea. I felt it was time to get paying users as well. The next challenge came: I had to figure out how to get visitors. Where did I get visitors from? In any case, I was thinking in the long term. Since I didn't earn a single with the course in half a year, I couldn't invest a lot of money in PPC. Therefore, I had to look for a more cost effective solution: I decided to produce a serious amount of good professional content . Target group But before I started, I had to define a persona, or at least a target group. It was difficult for me to determine , the field is completely scattered between the ages of and . It might be worth segmenting later, but I haven't dealt with it yet. Of course, I'm looking for Hungarian speakers , but I couldn't narrow down the Industry Email List potential users better locally. It seemed that demographic elements and aspects would define the target group less than I did. What is more important than these are what blogs they read, what Facebook groups they are in and what pages they follow. This is where I can reach them in the cheapest and most efficient way. They are clearly marketing and business focused , following sites like MarketingCommando, OMA, ThePitch, and similar marketing businesses. Then I joined all the marketing, SEO, and Facebook groups. I planned to share my better articles here as well. I didn't dare the weaker ones, because I didn't want them to hate me. So I mainly used segmentation based on behavior and interests as a starting point. It will probably be possible to separate the different target groups better over time, but the set of people interested in marketing seemed very good to begin with. Blog posts Fortunately, there are an amazing number of topics to write about in online marketing. I also did a lot of research here, especially on foreign sites that have a connection. From these I got topic ideas and put together posts for the Hungarian market. In the beginning, I thought I would write posts a week. Without help, it is incredibly difficult in the long run. I produced the posts every day. I shared the ones that I felt would work better. What was working and what wasn't was beginning to emerge.
